Traditional style Farmhouse Cheddar is produced on
the farm from Friesland milk. There are four flavours: mild (matured
for 3 months), medium (at 6 months showing, a pleasing nuttiness
and piquancy), mature (a more crumbly 9 month old) and vintage with
a characteristic cheddar bite for connoisseurs as well as Pecorino.
A recent exciting addition to
the range are four 250g waxed Truckles. Nine months matured cheddar
with Madagascar Green Peppercorns, 6 months matured with Wholegrain
Mustard or Mixed Bell Peppers and 3 months matured with Country
Herbs & Garlic.
No preservatives or colourants are added and the cheese is suitable
for vegetarians.
Zevenwacht cheeses can be purchased at the Wine Tasting
Centre and selected outlets country-wide.
